the Glove Compartment, members of Arena Rock records NYC band the Mink Lungs.  These guys pull influences of intense weird record collecting with Frank Zappa haphazard psychedlia and catchy as hell pop...home recording sound that is un-imitative of any one elses style. 
-"The Hidden Woman" is more dance-pop, "New Numbers" has more of a Zappa meets yellow Submarine flavor.  But these are home recording compilations and there are returning samples and re-occuring themes, as if Gian Carlo has created his own themepark carnival of sound blurbs and they all intertwine through different thoughts and periods of his life.  Amazing guitar sounds and sound experiments, and bizarre answering machine tapes that Gian Carlo finds at garage sales.
-The CD's are beautifully packaged digi-pac style paper cases, and the 12" VINYL are one of a kind handmade covers, each with different images from each other, but with a similar theme, insert, and hand-stamped back cover.

Avant-Bizarro, funny as hell from Ross Johnson, he's been Monsieur Jeffrey Evan's sidekick/drummer for a while now (and last Gibson Brother's record), was in Tav Falco's Panther Burns.  This very long sold out 7" has been procured from the closet of the label on clean out day, no covers, but who cares, it's great fun.   For fans of Memphis and it's eccentric garage punk characters.   Local label run by Andria Lisle, she's moved on to writing for Mojo Mag.

Syd Barrett fan, ya know, the ecentric nutty genius type.  DIGIPACK CD- gently used, but actual CD's are in A+ quality.

Evoking the same kind of Sunday porch-ghost in your mind as did the Squirrel Nut Zippers and the soundtrack from "Oh Brother, Where Art though?" , William Lee Ellis fills the room with a guitar style from the past.  hill country blues and mountain songs that talked of the human condition, our rebellious nature and redemption.   Blend of country, blues and a gospel vibe.  Check out some sounds here.  Not for the Punkers!
